The Towns (including Clarksville) and Counties (including Mecklenburg) in the Southside area are working with Southside Planning District to construct a formal Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan is revised roughly every five years and is extremely important to obtaining grant funds that can benefit the Towns, Counties, EMS, Fire, Police, and Rescue for reaction to storms, natural disasters, and other unexpected situations.
Southside Planning District is requesting feedback from our community to gather opinions as they relate to various hazards that can impact our region.
