To: Downtown Virginia Avenue Business Owners, Residents, Property Owners, and Patrons:
VDOT (VA DEPT of Transportation) will be conducting sweeping of the street (Virginia Avenue – Mainstreet in Clarksville) in downtown Clarksville on Monday, July 17th and Tuesday, July 18th , 2023. The Sweeper Machine will begin at sunrise and plans to be complete by 9 a.m. on both days.
The Town of Clarksville respectively requests for residents, property owners, business owners, or patrons to please do not park on the street from sunrise to 9 a.m. on the 17th and 18th of July, 2023. This greatly improves the Sweepers ability to sweep to all the areas of VA AVE including parking and curb areas.
If you have any questions, please advise. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.
