The Clarksville Municipal Dock offers 20 complimentary day-use slips, allowing you to dock, dine and shop in Clarksville, Virginia’s only lakeside town. After enjoying the 50,000 acres of Buggs Island Lake/John H. Kerr Reservoir, come visit the many one-of-a-kind eateries & shops within easy walking distance of the dock, located just south of the Highway 58 business bridge between buoy markers 19 & 20.

Flag Retirement Ceremony – Saturday, June 11th – 10:00 a.m.
The Annual Flag Retirement Ceremony will return to “Pocket Park” located at the stop light in Clarksville at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Fourth Street on Saturday June 11, 2022 10:00 a.m. Please bring any old, worn, faded or damaged US Flags to the Town Hall for proper retirement. The Marine Corps League will be conducting the ceremony under the direction of United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Member Mike Cuykendall. The public is encouraged to attend and participate in the ceremony.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Clarksville Town Council and the Clarksville Planning Commission shall hold a Joint Public Hearing on Thursday – June 9, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Town Hall located at 321 Virginia Avenue to hear a request for a Special Use Permit for Buggs Island Brewing Company, LLC located at 101 Second Street to install an off-premise sign on the west side of second street road right away and affixed to the existing sign structure that holds the existing Clarksville Lake Country Chamber of Commerce sign. Off-premise signs in a B-2 zoned district require a special use permit. A copy of the application is available for review in the Town Hall. Persons wishing to comment may do so at the hearing or by submitting written comments to the Town Manager, P. O. Box 1147, Clarksville, VA 23927 by 5:00 p.m. on June 7th, 2022.
