Clarksville’s Autumn Festival For The Whole Family!

Come and celebrate the fall season, Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Annual Harvest Days Festival!  Vendors will line the streets facing the storefronts and sidewalks along Virginia Avenue offering seasonal crafts, specialty items and so much more from 9 am to 3 pm.  In addition to the vendors, the one-of-a-kind specialty shops and restaurants will offer specials throughout the downtown area, along with a host of games & crafts for the kids.

We invite you to do the Catfish Art Crawl!  Find all the catfish art by local artists throughout the town at sponsored businesses through August 31st.  Be sure to vote at any voting box throughout town through August 30th.  Final Event and bobber drop is August 31st!

$10.00 for a numbered bobber.

The Bobber Drop will be August 31st at 11 a.m.

So come to Clarksville and do the Catfish Art Crawl.

 Re:  As adjoining or adjacent property owners to 105 Marshall Drive, Clarksville, Va., you are hereby notified of the following:

 The Town of Clarksville Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 at 4 pm at the Town Council Chambers, located @ 325 Virginia Ave.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a Zoning Variance request by Michael & Lynn Speer, Parcel Record Number # 21914.   The owner is requesting a variance to reduce the required R1 side setback from 10 feet to 4 feet to allow for the installation of an attached metal carport to the north side of the existing home.

$25 for adults / $10 for children over 5 but under 46” tall, 5 and under free
  • 2-hour time slots available Friday 10 am – 10 pm (8-10 pm-16 and older only) and Saturday 10 am to 6 pm.  Must be at least 46″ tall.  Children under 46″ tall must slide with an adult.
  • Every slider must have a ticket and signed waiver.  Choose the FREE ticket option for anyone under the age of 5.  The link to your waiver will appear in your email confirmation.
  • Tickets are sold online only.  We will not sell tickets at the gate, however, they can be purchased via your mobile device at any time

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Clarksville Town Council and the Clarksville Planning Commission shall hold a Joint Public Hearing on August 6th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Town Hall located at 321 Virginia Avenue to hear a request for a Special Use Permit for the property located at 110 Park Avenue, Clarksville, VA to install 21 roof mounted solar modules on the existing residence.  A copy of the application is available for review in the Town Hall.  Persons wishing to comment may do so at the hearing or by submitting written comments to the Town Manager, P.
