The Clarksville Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “Farm Fresh Market” located at the corner of Virginia Avenue and Fourth Street in the Historic Downtown of Clarksville, VA. The event will be held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning April 27th, 2019 and ending on October 26, 2019. May 17th update from Town Manager, Jeff Jones
Here is a quick update on the Clarksville Downtown Paving Project being performed by The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
All Virginia Avenue streets and parking will be open from second to seventh all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The business 58 bridge will reopen at 5 p.m. (Friday- May 17th) today and will remain open Saturday (18th) and Sunday (19th).
VDOT’s tentative plan is to begin paving operations on Monday (May 20th), Tuesday (21st), & Wednesday (22nd) in the downtown area and Thursday (23rd) on the bridge causeway. One lane of traffic will remain open and there will be flaggers directing traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No parking will be allowed on Virginia Avenue during the paving. Parking behind building and on side streets will available.

Mayor Allgood has rescheduled next Tuesdays (4/16/2019) Regular Clarksville Town Council Meeting to Tuesday – April 23, 2019 at 6:30 PM due to unexpected conflicts.
Town Hall Office will be closed on Monday, April 22nd in observance of Easter Monday.
