The Clarksville Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is hosting a “Farm Fresh Market” located at the corner of Virginia Avenue and Fourth Street in the Historic Downtown of Clarksville, VA.  The event will be held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning April 27th, 2019 and ending on October 26, 2019.  The event will provide a market of local products that are produced within a 100 radius.  For more information, please click on the link below.

MAY 17TH WEEKEND UPDATE – DOWNTOWN PAVING PROJECT BY VDOT

May 17th update from Town Manager, Jeff Jones 

Here is a quick update on the Clarksville Downtown Paving Project being performed by The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). 

All Virginia Avenue streets and parking will be open from second to seventh all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 

The business 58 bridge will reopen at 5 p.m. (Friday- May 17th) today and will remain open Saturday (18th) and Sunday (19th).       

VDOT’s tentative plan is to begin paving operations on Monday (May 20th), Tuesday (21st), & Wednesday (22nd) in the downtown area and Thursday (23rd) on the bridge causeway.  One lane of traffic will remain open and there will be flaggers directing traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  No parking will be allowed on Virginia Avenue during the paving.  Parking behind building and on side streets will available.

We are so excited to have three incredible local bands perform for our FIRST installment of the Lake Life Life Summer Series for 2019!!!

Gates open at 3:00 and the music starts at 3:00 with The Tobacco Road Band. The Feature Attraction Band hits the stage at 4:30. The Konnection comes on at 7:30.

Bring your shaggin’ shoes, beach chair and/or towel, and some cash. Admission is $5.00 at the gate. We are a family-friendly event, all ages welcome!

The Cottage Barn and Cooper’s Landing Inn and Travler’s Tavern will be onsite offering an array of food and non-alcoholic beverages.

We will have alcoholic beverages available for purchase as well.

We hope you will come and have a good time with us, shop our downtown stores before hand, and then head out to one of our many restaurants after to grab a snack or dinner!!

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ALLOWED!
Bags and Chairs checked at the gate.

PUBLIC NOTICE – TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2019 AT 6:30 P.M

Members of the Budget Committee of the Clarksville Town Council will accept public input into the 2019-20 Budget process during the Town Council meeting held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Clarksville Town Hall.  Town residents are welcome to attend and express their views on the upcoming budget process.
