Oakhurst Cemetery Cleanup
A cleanup of the cemetery is scheduled for March 18 through March 31. Please collect all ornaments, tributes, receptacles, flags, glass or ceramic figurines, solar lights, photos frames and all other personal tributes that you wish to keep. All items left at the gravesite will be discarded.
Tributes may return after April 1.

The Town of Clarksville Board of Zoning Appeals will meet Thursday, March 28th, 2024 at 5 pm at the Town Council Chambers, located @ 325 Virginia Ave. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a Zoning Variance by Pittard Properties LLC, Parcel Record Number # 21952. The Easter Egg Hunt for Saturday has been postponed due to impending weather. A reschedule date will be announced at a later time.
1. No burning until after 4:00 p.m. if the fire is within 300 feet of woodland, brushland, or field containing dry grass or other inflammable material.
2. Fire must be attended at all times if the fire is within 150 feet of woodland or other dry fuel leading to woodland.
3. No fuel may be added or fire started after midnight.
4. Law applies to campfires, warming fires, brush piles, household trash, stumps, fields of dry grass and brush, or anything capable of spreading fire.

Town Operations will be ending loose leaf pickup on February 29, 2024. This will be the last chance to have loose leaf road side pickup until the Fall of 2024. After February 29, any leaf pickup will have to be bagged and placed on the edge of the street with the trash.
The regular scheduled meeting of the Clarksville Economic Development Authority for Feb. 19, 2024 has been rescheduled to Wednesday – Feb. 28, 2024 at 4 PM at the Town Hall in Clarksville due to unexpected conflicts.
